Description and activities

Established in 1880, Blagdon Cricket Club run 3 senior teams – a 1st and 2nd XI on a Saturday who play in the Bristol and District League and a Sunday XI that play in the North Somerset League. In addition, there is a thriving youth section that has Kwik Cricket for the 6 year old children (Year 2) and upwards, U11, U13, and U15 teams. We run coaching sessions in our own nets on a Tuesday and Wednesday nights and have qualified Cricket Coaches who run this.


Membership

There is an annual membership for seniors of £55.00 and match fees payable when a game is on. Memberships for juniors is £20.00 per year for the first child and £15.00 for each subsequent child. Membership fees cover the running of the club, maintenance of ground, nets etc.

Other

Although the standard of Cricket is reasonably good (1st XI are in the Premier Division and 2nd XI in Division 1) we are always looking for new players and will always give anyone an opportunity to play if they so wish.
