About the group
Description and activities
A
keen group of all abilities, who meet monthly to learn more about gardening,
share their experiences and listen to talks on related topics.
Members are free to borrow books and magazines from the comprehensive
club library, which is available at meetings. New books are purchased
each year.
Club members may sell their own produce and plants at any meeting, providing
they donate 10% of sales revenue to the club.
Visitors and new members are very welcome at our meetings

Other
The Table Show
The Table Show is a club competition for a Rose Bowl and voucher, starting
in January each year. Entries, including the flower arrangements, must
be from members own gardens. The speaker usually judges the competition,
and points are awarded for each class as follows:
- First prize - 4 points
- Second prize - 3 points
- Third prize - 2 points
1 point is given for each entry that is not awarded a prize.
