About the society
Description and activities
A Society formed 10 years ago to provide golf and fellowship for people of all ages.
We hold approximately 15 events per year, which include a long weekend tour, and the following competititons, individual, pairs, invitation, charity event and knock out. Additionally this year we are holding a charity BBQ to celebrate 10 years of the Society existence.

The only restrictions we may have are those provided by the golf clubs we visit ie sometimes they ask for a handicap certificate |
Events
Our events are held at a mixture of local golf clubs and at times we have travelled some distance to play special courses, Saunton Sands, Trevose, St Mellion etc
In 2005 the Golf Society has this year celebrated its 10th Anniversary, two Charity events were organised, a golf day at Mendip Spring and a barbecue. The two events raised £941.00 for Cancer Research.
The golf society has an exciting selection of fixtures for 2006, visiting many of the top golf clubs in the South West and Wales.
A programme of events is issued at the AGM which is held at the end of January each year, all are welcome.
