Mendip Caving Group
About the group
Description
The
Mendip Caving Group is a well established caving club, having celebrated
its 50th anniversary in 2004. We are an active, friendly club with members
drawn both from the local area and further afield. Bunkhouse style accomodation
is available for both members and guests. Download pdf for more information.
Activities
MCG members can be found underground on most weekends and also evenings
midweek. Caving trips on the Mendip Hills and further afield both elsewhere
in the UK and abroad. Trips are a mixture of both sporting caving and
exploration and are organised either as formal trips or more usually on
an ad hoc basis. The club also has a lively social calendar that includes
annual and Christmas dinners, slide shows, barn dances and barbecues.
