You can pit your wits against a range of local quizmasters at some of the local pub quiz nights.

The quizzes vary from classic general knowledge to popular culture. Whether you're a bird brain or brain of Britain there's usually something in a quiz to suit.

Teams of 4 or less compete. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun and friendly rivalry - prizes are awarded.

There are also quiz nights held in aid of/by various groups at special evenings. Please check the events diary to see what's coming up.

The following is a selection of questions from previous quizzes. The answers will appear the following month when you can test your knowledge again with a new quiz.
