Butcombe Arts Festival

On Sunday, a Soup Lunch in the Village Hall follows a Whitsuntide Family Festival Church Service. There will be another afternoon walk this time taking in the flowers and plants in Butcombe woodland, meadows and along a lane that pre-dates 1066. Also there is an opportunity to join in with hand-bell ringing or Morris dancing Workshops and in the setting of a Butcombe garden there will be sessions from Hot Berry, an electro outfit with support from poet/guitarist Dave Ashby.

The Festival closes in the same garden with a grand picnic (bring your own food, drink and something to sit on), where we will chat, and also listen to creative work prepared during the weekend.
